The Color Run San Diego is a yearly event that consists of a 5K race, lots of colors, and a fun time with friends and fellow racers. This choice was made because the main objective of this charity is to enhance the lives of members of the deaf and hard of hearing community by means of education, advocacy, and presenting access to services. Other organizations will also benefit, and a unique charity is chosen for each city that hosts a race.
Everyone who participates in the Color Run San Diego will get a t-shirt. Runners will receive a t-shirt celebrating "The Art of Running" and volunteers will receive a shirt that acknowledges them as a part of the Color Bomb Squad. In addition to the t-shirt, racers will also receive sunglasses, a racing big, and other cool gear from the sponsors after registration. Racers younger than 7 can participate for free, and people of all ages are encouraged to take part in the event.
