The Hassles In Keeping Clear Airport Security

By Greg Diener

Lots of people are looking to see the situations that are occurring regarding travel in the United States to ensure their safety. With all the threats going on around the globe, you always want to pay accurate attention on even the smallest little things that could be suspicious. Although many vacationers attempt to make sure they get past security in an efficient matter, there are some travelers concerned that clear airport security can ever be controlled.

During the past summer we have noticed various instances that have manifested at airports around the United States that have led to breaches of multi-million dollar protection systems. Some of these breaches have been as simple as ascending through a fence without anybody realizing. If we are putting in millions of dollars in a setup we expect to work and it doesn't do what it's intended, what does that say about the people in charge of the system?

We have to keep proper care of airline security and that means trying to take better care in training agents so that they are aware of every threat. For a security agent at an airport they are in a hard spot, they need to check every potential problem that might harm all passengers on a plane, but if your judgment is wrong it is going to cause incredible frustration. If you're instincts are wrong it is going to make some people incredibly angry they had their flight delayed or cancelled.

For the traveler though, there is help for them. New methods like flyclear are helping to give airline travelers the benefit of traveling without having to routinely be in fear of hassles at the security line. Passengers for an annual fee can give their information, which can be verified at an airport supplying them the perk of getting to the front of security. Now keep in mind if you use this program, you still have to be patted down at the airport but at least for passengers and security there is some help starting to enter in the picture.

With these new ideas, it is my desire to see airline security become understood by the populace as an issue that gives comfort rather than discomfort. If we are to become safe when we travel, it is imperative that security and passengers work together to help stop any crisis that could have the possibility of disaster. If we do not properly identify these problems, then we are going to be asked with the question of "what could we have done better?" That is something that as Americans we need to elude at all costs.
