Dragon Goggles

By Zara Parker

When it comes to providing a range of independent eyewear designs to the fashion industry, Dragon have set about targeting the active youth market and developing a reputation as a market leader for class and innovation. As the company has developed Dragon has grown to expand its ranges to include goggles and other extreme sport accessories. There are now a range of snow goggles which have been designed specifically for the competitive snowboarder or skier, with the aim of giving them a competitive edge.

Wanting to combine his passion for extreme sports, Will Howard founded the brand in 1993 and focussed on designing a range of eyewear that would cater to the needs of surfers, snowboarders and dirt bike riders. Although the company was originally created as a sunglasses brand, it quickly developed into a company which would cater to the needs of a whole range of extreme sports and this led to the development of many different specialist goggles.

High-quality and functional merchandise were at the forefront of the Dragon ideology and gradually this saw an expansion of the brand. The brand also took a step towards producing environmentally friendly sunglasses and develops its entire range from 100% renewable origins. The brand also went onto inspire the ECO series which helps to promote awareness of environmentally friendly optics.

Bringing a free-thinking and alternative approach to their designs, the brand continues to target the youth market throughout its creations. With a whole host of designs and colours, the wide range of snow goggles can appeal to any taste and come with a flexible approach throughout to allow them to tailor uniquely to the style of the wearer. Multi-coloured lenses are also available as an option to mix as you need.

The Dragon brand also produces a range of motocross goggles tailored to the needs of even the most extreme dirt bike riders. These models vary greatly in style and shape and also come with a range of tear offs to assist riders during the race if the goggles become dirty.
