The Best Place To Find Playing Football

By Larissa Y. Suarez

The South Americans are the ones who really delved into the field of soccer and contrived it into another realm although football is said to have its roots in Europe. In 1930 Uruguay won the world cup; the country was also the first host of the tournament. With the addition of a number of teams in the next world cup and evolvement in the quality of their games, football progressed more and more in Europe. Even today Europe and South America are still the best at this game.

Football in South America keeps improving in the world making serious and indelible impact today. The children in South America learn to play when they are very young. Before their counterparts from other parts of the world get started with the game, they have developed skills born from relentless practice.

That is why players from South America have quality of playing that others can never accomplish. More progress seems to have been made by European teams than the South American ones as Europe sought to boost up their game. Even if Europeans don't have the raw talent, they have stubbornness and a lot of training.

The brought in the best talents in the game for every department and ensured they built up their football. Thus a soccer army was built up by them which were ready to encounter the best teams in the world. An alpine standard was thus set by Europe with whopping monetary investments.

Europe's improvement can be seen in the world cups. Countries like West Germany, Netherlands, Italy and England began to do lot better in the world cups. Only Brazil and Argentina were a real match to the European talent. Today, a European team is the world champion and this says a lot.

Football leagues rope in and brush up talented players and hence are a sure shot means to strengthen the soccer playing lamina of a nation. Europe made sure that they developed privileged leagues and ensured popularity for the teams so that players began to drift towards the promising land of Europe from other continents thus costing South America its share of leagues as well as players. Waning funds of the South American leagues did nothing to stop the out flux.

Though it is true that the South Americans have had a tremendous dominion for a while, European football have advanced in a manner that has given a shock for the once gladiators of the field. Clubs in Europe for instance have coaches and trainers from such South American countries and players too were not left out. On the other hand, it is implausible to catch a European player (barring those contemplating the bliss of retirement) moving to the South American leagues which speaks a lot about the involvement of soccer in Europe.
