The Most Beautiful And Best Cities In Europe

By James Stewart

The best cities in Europe really depends on what sites a person is wanting to see and how long they will be able to stay. For example, places that have enough sites to see for one or two weeks include London, Paris, Rome, Sofia, and Florence. For sights for less than a weeks stay include Venice, Cambridge, Vienna, Amsterdam, Utrecht, Tallinn, Goteborg, Cesky Krumlov or Nice.

London, England is considered a favorite because it offers something for everyone. There are a number of museums, along with Big Ben, the London Eye, and the popular Tower of London. The London Eye gives a beautiful sky view of London.

Paris, France is arguably the most romantic city in the world. It has 42 million tourists every year, making it the most visited city around the world. There are 3,700 historical monuments to see. The Fall and Spring usually have comfortable days and comfortable nights while Summer days are hot. Winter is typically cold, but the temperatures usually do not fall below freezing during the day.

Amsterdam, in the Netherlands, is an important cultural place because they host about 75 festivals every year. They have famous museums, a canal belt, and many historical monuments. Every district in the centre has a unique personality. Some take a person back hundreds of years, while others have modern architecture.

Goteborg, Sweden, is a small city located in South West Sweden. There are many beautiful botanical gardens to visit with many types of unique plants. While other parts of Sweden are expensive, Goteborg has cheap fares and accommodations with fantastic attractions. It features Scandinavia's largest amusement park and has many heritage sites and museums.

As stated previously, the best cities in Europe will depend on the amount of time an individual is visiting and what type of atmosphere they are looking for. There are many fantastic and interesting places to visit that offer something to people of all ages, backgrounds, and personalities.
