Each time you go bass fishing, what you'll find is the experience is just about never the same. This is the best experience for beginners, but you can increase your chances of continuing that success.

Some of the best bass fishing in the entire world is found in America - the US, and people come from around the world to fish here. It really doesn't matter where you live, cold or hot climate, you can enjoy the sport. What you may want to do is try fishing for the different kinds, and then you can decide if you like one or the other. Think about the bigger bass fish, and the thing to consider is they've lived for a long time which means they have experience and have probably been hooked and got away.

There is some strategy and important considerations when shopping for the ideal rod and reel for bass fishing, plus some of the best setups can be totally confusing to the novice angler. Of course you can buy the gear and tackle that are not appropriate or right for bass fishing. There is a lot of variety on the market for all kinds of fishing, so be careful that you don't go on a spending spree. It is just not necessary for you to buy the most expensive tackle and gear that you can find, and you'll see a lot that is up there in price. But, that does not mean you should buy at the opposite end where quality can be very questionable.

As far as what you can use for bait, like other bass you can use worms, other small fish like minnows, and just about anything living that is small enough. You can do that and don't forget that fly fishing for small mouth is possible and more challenging. Think about bass fishing as a work in progress that you can enjoy for many years, and be willing to learn as many techniques as you can. Some people have been known to only fish for bass while others love other kinds. One challenging aspect of bass fishing is using fly fishing methods. Your basic skills will improve and you'll be able to change things when you're ready for a change.
