Find Out The Bible Scriptures On Life Of Christians

By Erna Gutierrez

As a Christian, the life is not always an easy match. There are many challenges and troubles that were predicted many years before the word was written that Christians must overcome. Overcoming them is important because there is a reward in heavy for having been successful in the walk. The bible scriptures on life therefore provide help on how to behave successfully.

Popular troubles that are a common finding for many Christians include those involving issues of fearing to trust God or having doubt in his word, issues of anxiety and discouragement on the issues that seem difficult to solve or even depression and frustrations.

To start with anxiety is the first obstacle that Christians struggle with. People get anxious about what they will eat or where they will get shelter if they totally dedicate themselves to the Godly lives. This is because most work involves voluntary services and expecting God to bless you. Philippians 4:6 encourages us not to be anxious in anything but through prayer we let God know our requests because he is able to provide.

Christian life demands total faith in God, believing that he is the source of our strength in difficulty. When one is facing very difficult times the word encourages us from Philippians 4:13 that we can do all things because Christ gives us strengthens. We are also encouraged to trust in Jesus as proverbs 3:5 states with all our heart and never to depend on our understanding for him to help us.

Lack of faith in the word of God and his power comes mostly because of fear and doubt. When the challenges are so strong we may want to try help ourselves rather than wait on God to act. We fear he may not turn up in time and help us. Isaiah 41:10 give us hope that God is our strength and promises to hold us by his right hand that is victorious so we do not fall. He says he is our place of refuge from all storms that may come in psalms 32:7.

Discouragements are part of the Christian walk especially where people who might have trusted the lord end up dying in the process. We tend to regard the walk as unfair and easily give up hope. His word in john 14:1-3 however encourages us that he went to heaven to prepare for us many beautiful homes where we are going to spend eternity in peace.

Depression also tends to quickly set in after discouragement but we are encouraged from psalms 40 verses 1 to 3 by David who said that he waited patiently for the Lord and then the Lord heard him and lifted him from a place of despair and set him on a higher ground. It also says in psalms 34:17-19 that God hears the call of the good men for help when they call him, and even though they may get troubles, God helps them every time.

A frustrated Christian is not likely to complete the Christian walk successfully, it is for this reason that the bible scriptures on life are dedicated to encourage believers that even though they might have to wait for answers for some time, God will keep them in perfect peace of mind from proverbs 3:5 and as Hebrews 10:36 says he will fulfill all his promises for us.
