People seek the best choices of food, clothing and shelter. As long as they have the money to pay for these things, they are ready to buy them in large quantities as if they can live forever with these things.. They fail to read the account of the rich fool who died on the same day he announced his wealth to himself. God started life in man and he is ready to make it complete. Unfortunately, it is hard to realize this nowadays because important Bible scriptures on life are rarely read.
John 3:16 explains the requirement for living forever. Of course, this is the kind that most people want. However, the only way to get this is by accepting Jesus, God's son, who was sent to die for man's sins. God gave Jesus to the world because He loved it dearly and was ready to do anything to save it from the impending doom.
Eternal life comes from righteousness while death comes from sin. This can be found in the book of Romans chapter six verse twenty-three. Therefore, there is a call to live righteously and shun all forms of evil.
In John 10:10, Jesus is seen as the only one that can sustain you while Satan is seen as an enemy and life destroyer. Man's responsibility is to resist everything that comes from Satan and embrace whatever Jesus offers. Satan comes with beautiful things that can destroy and steal man's divine inheritance.
God knew how challenging it would be for man to live righteously so He equipped him with the Bible for him to study day and night. One of the numerous reasons why man should be occupied in this is in Hebrews chapter four verse twelve. This verse describes God's word as active and sharp.
The origin of life in man can be found in the Old Testament. In Genesis 2:7, God formed man from the dust and breathed into his nostril so he can start living. The truth is that God who started this in man is faithful and able to continue supplying every thing man needs to live happily on earth. Unfortunately, a lot of people do not acknowledge this so they resort to dubious means of getting what they need.
Galatians 2:20 explains how Christians should live. Jesus is the ultimate source so there should be no style except His. In fact, it is expected of Christians to allow Jesus live in them and through them instead of trying to follow others. The first basic step in doing this is by sharing in his crucifixion. This means giving up every worldly pleasure.
In the past, God placed prophets and priests as mediators between Himself and the other people. Since the death and resurrection of His Son Jesus Christ, that method has changed. He now wants people to have direct access to Him, understand Him personally and have direct relationship with Him. In John 5:24, the Bible encourages all men to strive for The Word and act everything that is written in it. This is the only way to gain God's approval.
Anytime you study Bible scriptures on life, you will become more prepared to face any kind of temptation that comes your way. God has allowed the devil to present his temptations because He believes you can overcome them with His help. He is always there to provide basic needs so you should not yield to Satan when he presents the kingdoms of the world and asks you to bow down and worship him in order to get them.
