Beneath the Archway you can see the goldminers dance platform which is over 120 years of age. Other things to do include walking the Orange Heritage Trail, which will give you a good overview of the history of the city.
There also are some beautiful parks and gardens to take a look at along with a trip to one of the old goldmines close by. Some of these include the Gunner Do Goldmine, Drs Hill and Ophir Road mines. Stay for a couple of days and enjoy all of the city has to offer, including bush-walking, fishing and exploring.
You might perhaps try panning for gold and if you're lucky, you could have something to take home from your holiday. Even if you do not, you will enjoy visiting Orange, even if it grows apples.
